README badges for your code

We're happy to announce that we've made a code badge available on bitHound to complement our range of badges for overall score, dependencies and dev dependencies.

bitHound code readme badge

You'll notice that we do not simply show your code's score. We had a couple of reasons for this. For starters, showing a code score that doesn't match the overall score on the project dashboard can be confusing.

Secondly, and more importantly, we want bitHound badges to be drivers for action. As a result, if you have priority files in your project, your code badge will report it. Otherwise, we just comment on the state of your project.

Priority file badge

No priority files? That's good! Do you have a stellar score? You're an all-star! :)

Check out your project dashboards to see how you can add the badge to your project!
